    Extract Hefeweizen

Bottled the beer on Sunday. Tastes good. A little dark in color and slightly sweet, but I think that will mellow out. Seems to have the perfect clove/spice flavor from the yeast. I'm thinking this will be good :D

    Extract Oktoberfest

Hi all looking to start making an Oktoberfest for the coming fall. Looking for opinions on if I should get a kit or is there a really awesome recipe I should follow. I also wanted to know if I need to make a yeast starter. I do not currently have what I need for a yeast starter, but I do...

    Extract Hefeweizen

I want to make a hefeweizen and I'm still pretty new to brewing. I have made 4 extract beers so far using kits, and this time I would like to try my hand without a kit and purchasing individual ingredients myself. I have put together a simple recipe: Let me know how it looks and if I should...

    Digital Temp Controller

A way to precisely maintain the temp In your freezer/fridge. You can ferment/age/lager your beers at the right temperature even in the summer.

    Digital Temp Controller

Thanks for responses. Not sure I want to try and build my own controller at this point. I have a newborn son, not a lot of time and I'm not too great with electrical. The shelves do come out and should easily fit a carboy. The scotch wee heavy ale I have has been in secondary at 65 for a few...

    Digital Temp Controller

Just getting into brewing. I have an empty freezer in my garage that was here when I moved in. Thinking about buying dig temp controller from northern brewer (A419). Is it as easy as plugging the fridge into the controller and setting the temp??? If so this would be great for me. I brewed a...
