    Ginger Bread Man

Before you get into designing beers... perfect your process. Then work on making specialized beers... However, I would look into all the spices used to make gingerbread cookies, including any brown sugars. Once you have the base spices, look into how much you need (search speciality beers)...

Getting the smell out of my primary...

I recently left a.Belgian in my primary for 4 weeks. After bottling and cleaning with oxyclean I have a very strong beer aroma. I don't want it to affect future beer... How do I clean it and remove the smell so I don't get a tainted beer?

    Need help, New Car...

Oh man! totally forgot about that SNL skit... haha... thanks for that wildwest. Well, I just found out about the new VW GTI Quattro (AWD) w/ 260 hp, and a 4 banger. It gets damn near 30mpg on the highway. Fudge! It comes fully loaded for less than $40K--if the test drive isn't like...

Shipping is on me too... we all pay taxes my friend. Just remember that I'm protecting your right to that freedom of speech you exercise so well. :mug: I'll be living in Boston when I get back... but you're welcome to come up. Share a couple of homebrews, etc. I had a dream about the M3...

How to cool a wort without the need of coils

Nothing too complicated. Less volume, less to break down the oils/release acids in hops. Thus, less utilization... this basically means you are watering down your Wort when you don't do full boils. Will it make beer? Yes. Could it be far better...? Def. But that's why each style fits each...

    What are you drinking now?

That is the microbrewery capital of the US. I lived in C Springs for 4 years... man I miss Colorado. JEALOUS!

    Need help, New Car...

$0... the govt ships 1 vehicle free of charge. Or, it gets shipped to a dealership in the states for $875... which they can waive if I negotiate right. The M3 with the auto tranny(faster 0-60)... is 54k. That means I don't lose any equity driving it off the lot. The deal is the best you can...

    Do your wives get mad?

Being in charge is overrated... we all know we love it when our ladies take care of us.

Worthwhile Beer of The Month Club

I'd start with BeerAdvocate.com... I'm willing to bet they can answer this quickly! Me on the other hand would rather do a "brew of the month club"

    Do your wives get mad?

Wow... my wife has a job, and I have a job. I pay ALL the bills...she saves money and pays for dinners/trips/hobbies. Call it the "good helper" system... whatever money is left over is ours to do whatever we please. We don't even share our bank accounts... It's all about balance. If your wife...

LMAO! Tilt my nose huh... thanks. Just to be clear, I've waited 12 years to buy a car of this caliber...been driving used honda's and nissan's, and putting money away when I deploy--and just want to be sure it is the best purchase for my needs. I have no doubt I will enjoy the cadillac...

    Need help, New Car...

Gentlemen! I've just come back from the BMW and Audi dealerships... Although the S5 is a wonderful vehicle... the M3 is speaking to something deeper. Probably rooted from my childhood... LOL I'm currently leaning on the M3... test drive may happen next week... currently there are no "demo"...

    Need help, New Car...

I took a 5.0 out on the town and wasn't really impressed. I've read the reviews on GT500's... but have to say that a sporty ride is just as important. Unfortunately, I need a car that can road trip or race... and the M3 has that package standard. This means I don't have to screw with coil...

My take on the Midwest Belgian Honey

Ladies/Gents, It's been a full 6 weeks since I brewed my Belgian Honey. I followed the recipe to a T, and it has finally matured to a drinkable level... It finished at 8% ABV, a little high--but the alchohol doesn't come through AT ALL... It has a TON of candi sugar nose... and when it...

    Need help, New Car...

Wow... I am so intrigued that I will at least test driveway volt. Truth is... I'd rather own an overpriced Tesla if I were going to go electric. Update: rest driving a 2012 M3 this week... if the weather holds up. Ill then head to the Audi dealership for an S5 experience... Any.other...

    Need help, New Car...

I have enough mechanical skill to mess with anything that doesn't involve a ton of electronics... guess that rules all of them out. Haha... I'm confident I could have fun with all of them.

    Need help, New Car...

I am getting ready to leave Europe next year. I can get a killer deal on an S5 or BMW locally... but have to make the purchase soon. It sounds like I need to delete the CORVETTE( SECRETLY I wouldn't feel right driving one daily) add Volvo, and give a lot of love to the S5. Thanks for the quick...

    Need help, New Car...

OK... I'm buying a new car and can't freaking decide. I know its crazy but here are the choices...and YES I will probably live out of it. Haha... not really. 1. Nissan GTR 2. Audi A5 V8 loaded 3. BMW M3 4. Mustang SVT GT500 5. Dodge Challenger/Corvette Z06 Concepts to follow: Decent gas...
