ketchup on a hot dog, mustard on a hamburger, mayo on fries?

@fluketamer Those are not actually brats. They are German style white hot dogs, also known as coneys in central NY state. And yes, they're delicious. I need to order more soon.

ketchup on a hot dog, mustard on a hamburger, mayo on fries?

Not really a fan of hot dogs, but coneys aka Hoffman Snappy Grillers, hell yes! The only thing to ever put on them is brown mustard like Gulden's or similar. Unless your the wife who puts ketchup on them which is just blasphemous IMHO. And no, entire state of Michigan, what you make or serve...

    real vs fake pizza toppings

@mac_1103 My wife can do the exact same thing. I love to cook but that ability of hers makes me jealous. She had one fork full of my Shrimp & Grits at the Omni Hotel restaurant in Amelia Island, came home and recreated it exact from scratch. Now it's our go to recipe for Shrimp & Grits.

No pics on this post, sorry. We did harvest 5 lbs of green beans from the garden so far they're really happy on the trellis I built. As with green beans you need to find many different ways to prepare them. Here are a couple new ways we found that we really like, and yes she's on a Keto kick...

    Corn on the cob

I don't know about adding amylase to water to cook corn on the cob, but I find that taking off the silk and grilling in the husk makes it taste sweeter than boiling.

Gardening: My Tomatoe and Pepper Progress

@Oldskewl we're thinking it might be an italian marconi. Either way, it's really happy and prolific. Gonna eat it whether it's sweet or hot. We bought a Sante Fe Grande pepper plant at Lowe's, never grew that before, also very prolific, looking forward to trying those also.

Gardening: My Tomatoe and Pepper Progress

So the wife bought a pack of Burpee mystery pepper seeds at Wally-World and started a bunch of them. Anyone have any ideas what this pepper might be? It's really productive.
