Who'da thunk it? Ladybirds at the local nursery

One good home made solution is to use hot peppers, and make a tea from them, and then spray that on the plants. The bugs don't like a mouth full of jalapeno any more than most humans do.

Who'da thunk it? Ladybirds at the local nursery

From Wikipedia Coccinellids(ladybugs) are generally considered useful insects as many species feed on aphids or scale insects, which are pests in gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places. Beer labels.

Mac & Jacks is a Redmond, Wa. based brewery that, if memory serves me correctly, is the second largest brewery (roughly 35,000 barrels) in the state. They are a DISTANT second to Redhook (360,000 barrels). An interesting thing to note is that Manny Chao of Georgetown Brewing was employee...

    Kroger employees?

I left because I was in IT, and getting moved more and more into operations, and I did not want that. I came back because I ran into my old boss one day in a store, and he made me an offer that was too good to refuse. Now I am back in IT, doing what I love, with a company that I have always...

Not wanting to know anything, I have worked for QFC off and on for my entire working career. I am on my second stint with them in their main office. I was just wondering, as I was sitting at work yesterday, if there were any others out there. What did you do for Fred Meyer while you were...

Is it possible to have too much head space in a Conical Fermenter??

According to something I heard on The Session, yes, it is possible to have too much head space in your fermenter: it allows for a heavier layer of co2 to build up, and this extra pressure can have a negative impact on the yeast.
