A saw, drill, and miter box I imagine. *Oh, and tape measure and screw driver.

Modifying a Bayou burner for a keggle

I used angle iron and bolted 4 pieces into a square that sits on top of my burner to stabilize my keggle.

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

19947+5=19951! Second batch, wish I would've started it as soon as I bottled the first batch. Won't make that mistake twice.

    Keg / Carboy Washer (yes another) . . .

Would it be advantageous to put holes in the side of the PVC too? So the pressurized stream would hit the sides with pressure.

    Miller Lite Home Draft Dissected

I know of people tapping empty 12 gram cartridges with NPT threading and making their own adapters for paintball guns. You may read up on that.

    Home made stir plate questions

Radio Shack sells rare earth magnets or dealextreme.com if you're not in a hurry. They sell crazy strong and small magnets with free shipping, but it'll take like 3 weeks to get here. Also one question you're worried about the magnets no one will be able to see looking jury-rigged yet...

    Weldless brew stand.

Have you thought about attatching a wooden handle? I'm thinking of making a similar 2 tier structure and until you posted this I had never thought about heat transfer. Sometimes it's the simple things that get ya.

    Server Rack Brew Stand

Have a coworker who took a rack home to modify for brewing. He cut a hole in the top where the fan/exhaust holes were and mounted a burner. Then below that he has a small shelf on rails that holds his cooler MLT and at the bottom he has another burner mounted for his BK. He then pumps the...

    Fridge Refurbishment Help Needed!

IF you're going to go through with restoring this I HIGHLY recommend you drill before you do anything else. No sense sanding and painting only to hit a coolant line when you finish. I will say this, I bought a 1940 Philco fridge for $40 for my kegerator and it was in much better shape.

Coor's Disposable Keg = Party Pig?

Cream chargers are N2O(Nitrous Oxide) and are completely different from CO2. They are also 8 gram cartridges standard I believe.

Show me your Cooler set up

You can find a bajillion instructional videos on youtube that cover removing the spout. I'd take pictures of mine, but sadly it does not exist.

Check out my DIY Beer Chalkboard!

That's really cool! I may have to get myself some chalkboard paint. On the Bud Light, I almost always have some in my fridge from parties. I don't buy it, but I seem to have a constant supply in my fridge :)

    Carbing with table sugar???

I wouldn't want to risk stirring. I've never had an issue just racking on top causing the entire bucket to quietly swirl. If stirring works for you great, but it'll get plenty mixed without it.

    Carbing with table sugar???

Do you boil it first? I bring the sugar to a boil with 2 cups water, cool it down then rack on top of it. I NEVER stir it and I've never had a problem. Whether table sugar or corn.

Yikes! Fermentation bucket not sealed for two days.

I'm no expert, but your fermentation is probably putting enough gas off nothing could get in. I've even heard of people not using an airlock and just having a loose lid, I don't think it's recommended, but I'm sure you're fine.
