So first time using Philly Sour yeast. Beer turned out with a modest amount of sourness. Can I add some lactic acid to try and bump things up a bit before kegging? Any pointers would be welcome. Cheers!

First transfer had its hiccups. For some reason the sanke tap i choose out of my pile of taps decided the push some beer into the keg and take some and push it straight out of the gas out port into my bucket of starsan. I kept working at this until i just switched out the taps and then...

Ya ive used them many times before but just gonna try to put the keg under light pressure and get the conical up to a bit of a higher pressure. I think im going to have to either use the ball lock connect or put an inline valve on the beer in. Just looking for what others are doing.

Guys Im getting close to needing to keg off my first beer, a lager, from my new CF10. I use Sanke kegs and not cornies. I have done plenty of small pressure transfers from my anvil brew buckets to my sankes before. I am just wondering to hear others processes since sankes are a bit different...

Ya very true. Hopefully with my beer room in the basement, it will keep the humidity down to a minimum.

Ill have to keep an eye out for that but ive had a lager going for almost 2 weeks and no signs of this. Im sure during cold crash it will make itself known.

You can go the DIY glycol chiller route. That what I did and I'm not alone. Spent under $125 and what what I've heard from others out there ans read, you can easily run 2 or more fermenters on with them.
