Bayou Classic cooker burner has too much orange

I just bought 2 of the kab6 , the flame would not stay lit , I cut the air back to about 25 % and it works great . No roaring flame , just a gentle small flame but it is spread out over the whole width of my pot , heats faster than my jet burner. Probably uses the same amount of gas though.

Bayou Classic cooker burner has too much orange

I have the same bayou classic burner wth the cast iron burner, with the air wide open , I can lift the blue flame up off the burner about 1 “ wide open at the tank, I would say the aluminum burner is your problem.

Here is my Frigidaire chest freezer inside dimensions 16”front to back 22” wide 19” deep to top of step and 28” deep without step . I added a 2x 6 collar that I leave loose on top of the freezer so I can remove the lid to get the empty half keg out easier. I use an inkbird controller. After...

What do you do with your spent grains?

There really is no taste or starch left in the grains, I just dump them out in the woods, the deer and squirrels don’t even bother with them. Before I moved to the country, the grain was a problem, I would have to put it in 2 bags and put it in the trash. 20 lbs of grains turns into 40 lbs wet.

I drink it right from the tap so I don’t have any bacteria that I know of. As far as the hardness? I don’t know . Grump, did you send a sample to a lab...

    Blue Moon Clone

Both batches , I ran through a coffee mill . Ground to like sand consistency . First batch was phenomenal , I think the 1 oz of Citra hops may have toned down the coriander . Second batch, an additional 1 oz of sweet orange peel was added .
