    Well I have just finished brewing my porter and it smelled amazing while I was cooking it with perle hops and target hops the aroma was beautiful. My choc grains and crystal grains where nice aswell. I can't wait to bottle it and I can't wait to taste it. Who loves a beautiful porter??

    Sounds good this is my first porter so I can't wait for that beautiful aroma of the hops when I'm cooking and it's always good news when everyone is giving me great feed back on porter..cheers !!

    Can't wait for tommorow I will brewing a nice porter using perle and target hops topped off with crystal and choc grains, who has brewed this before because I'm excited??? :)

    Cheers for the recipe I need to go down to the brew shop this weekend so I will see if they have it here in Australia.. You like the old bundy hey hahaha.. The only place I know where to get that is the bottle shop but I don't drink it haha.. Thanks again, can't wait to brew it then taste it...

    I left my all grain golden ale for 4 weeks and it ended up beautiful and havnt had a problem so I'm very happy. When I did my gravity test my SG levels were between high and low in the middle where it usually is.. Talk soon mate and cheers for the info..

    I havnt done an IPA yet but I'm always up for a challenge and doing different things with experimenting brewing my beer and tasting different flavours with sugars so I'm going to keep doing my thing as I'm having fun. You guys have been great with everything. Talk soon and keep brewing!!

    Recipe requests

    I thought it was done and it showed it was done. I also checked the top of my beer and it was flat like it's supposed to be so I'm thinking my gravity test wasn't right and I stuffed it up. All my other beers were beautiful and worked out fine so now it's time to taste my golden ale all grain...

    It's not really that expensive but I like it better then raw sugar coz I gave that ago and that wasn't bad either so I might stick to what I like. Honey sounds nice how much do you put in there at one time??

    I really appreciate u guys getting back to me and it was post boiling when I put it into my fermenter so I'm happy that's right. My galaxy ale is sitting nicely around 20 degrees and will be ready to drink soon, talk with you all soon and thanks again!!

    Hey guys I use brown sugar all the time when I'm bottling, some people tell me to use brewing sugar. What do you guys think? I havnt had a problem at all so I thought I would ask everyone with more experience, cheers!!

From the top of my head the mash was sitting at about 68 to 70 degrees, I hope that's ok because that's what I have been told to do especially in the cooling down stage.
