    Faucet o-ring

need details, what kind of faucet? I usually buy rebuild kits. Its a little pack that has all of the washers for the stem. your local plumbing supply house should have it. If one washer is worn out replace all of them because the others are not far behind.

Using Olive oil instead of Oxygen

I have heard of topping off with olive oil to prevent oxidation. Wine and oil are immiscible and the oil floats on top of the wine. The oil layer prevents contact between oxygen in the air and the wine.

CL Find: 3Gallon Corny, Long Island

http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/spo/2109343923.html Saw this on CL today. I have no need for it so I am posting it for you guys. Seems like its a standard corny keg plus the added portable gear. A hundred buck seems steep, but I am sure you can negotiate.

    Winter Brewing Wort Chilling Solution

you could turn on your faucet just to use the CFC. Moving water takes a veeeeery long time to freeze. I would not worry about turning on your faucet for the 20min it takes to chill your beer as long as you drain the pipe going to the faucet as soon as you are done.

I think the suck back is due the change in atmospheric pressure as well as the temperature. Operating on the same principle as a barometer.

    Collapsible Wall Mounted Brew Stand

The swinging shelf support will be cut on an angle to "lock" into the lower support. I could always add a safety pin (nail) to secure the support in place. Yes having 40+ pounds of 170deg wort and grains is a hell of a wake up call.
