    Raspberry Wheat Extract Beer Advice?

I used the 4oz Raspberry extract on my last wheat beer and added it to the bottling bucket like the instructions said. I think that the raspberry taste was way too strong. I would recommend putting half the raspberry extract in the beer. Unless you like a real strong raspberry flavor then go...

Did you use twist off bottles vs the pry off ones. I heard the twist off ones will leak and that they should not be used for bottling. I use nothing but the pry off bottles and have never had an issue with them. Good luck !!! :mug:

    Bottling

Leave it in the primary for 3 to 4 weeks and bottle. Then leave them in the bottle for at least another 2 to 3 weeks around 70 out of the sun and light. Then put in the fridge for a couple days and enjoy.

    Noob question on first batch

You can get a rubber grommet to fit in the hole on the bucket lid. Here is the link. As far as those bubbles i agree with GRHunter. http://www.midwestsupplies.com/replacement-rubber-grommet.html

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Its an extract recipe. Haven't jumped to the all grain yet. But here is the link if you are interested in brewing it. Its a light ale with a slight fruity taste to it. If you like that kind of beer you will not be disappointed. Its my 3rd batch i made so far and my favorite. :rockin:

Neighbor wants beer in 3 weeks...

Do your buddy a favor and just tell him to buy some beer from the store. I dont see how you could make a Home Brew taste that good in 3 weeks. Plus he may turn them all off from ever trying to homebrew. I may be wrong though.
