Scared to install the pickup tube into its hole in the center of the tun’s false bottom. Feels as if Im gonna bend the tube. And also it dont seem asnif its gonna line up w the hole

If you single infuse and dont recirculate; what I recommend is merely stirring very thoroughly at the beginning of the mash, and then letting it set for an hour. Simple as that. Stir about five minutes trying to break up any balls. Gently but thoroughly so as to introduce little O2.

Dont know much about the advantages/disadvantages of either 1) conical fermenting in fridge , or 2) ...fermenting outside of fridge via a “glycol chiller” I am especially interested in electrical costs, ease of use and cleaning, and any other points that arent apparent.

Would a RIMs tube in which you recirculate wort thru said tube and back into the mash be harmful to the wort in any manner, in regards to the LODO techniques ??

I wish there was a detailed step by step guide to conducting a five gallon LODO brew. If there is would someone tell me where plz?

...and if you did do this setup; would a whirlpool port / whirlpooling ever be helpful?? I used to WP in my last system (batch sparge into 10-gallon boil kettle) and it was good for coning up sediment prior to racking to fermenter. i would imagine most of the would-be boil kettle sediment...

Would this work?? Trying come up with a 2-vessel system for BIAB / LODO (Low oxegon brewing). Two vessel system. 20-gallon pot for a mash tun (MT) and 15-gallon Hot liqour tank/boil kettle (BK). Heat liquor in the BK and pump it out the spigot of BK, and into spigot of MT and “underlet”...
