    Interesting. I am looking to get a 4.5 cu ft fridge. I was wondering if a Carboy with a airlock would fit. U want to use that to control my fermenting. I don't have a lot of room to do this.

    4.5 cubic ft GE FRIDGE fermenting

    Looking to see if any one has used or using a 4.5 cubic foot fridge to control ferment temps. I am looking to buy one to keep a carboy and/or ferment bucket. I am concerned that a carboy with a air lock may not fit in fridge. Does any one know if it will. I'm using to control ale temp. Thanks

    Great info. My idea was to to get a 4.5 cubic foot mini fridge. I am seeing them on eBay for about $75 or so. It appears it should fit up to a 6.5 carboy. I like the idea of the aquarium temp controller. When The yeast settles down bubbling should I cold break it from there or continue to...

    I am a little new at using this way to ferment. I live in florida and its hard to maintain 65-72 degrees. I wanted to buy a mini fridge and ferment in there. Do I have to have some kind of vent for c02? Also what temp should I maintain if I do it this way. Any input?
