Today I am brewing a 3 gal BIAB kit from NB and this will be my first time using dry yeast. My question is do you just simply sprinkle it on the wort and don't stir/shake or do you want to stir it in an aerate then?
I have a 7 gallon bucket as well, just thought I'd ask. I do have a swamp cooler and all the necessary equipment, just wanted to see if I could have two going at the same time.

Just bought a CDA kist from NB. This will be my first attempt at all grain and I am pretty excited. Any tips for a first time BIAB? Add a little more grain? Ph?
If you are worried about anything getting in after you take the airlock off before moving it, sanitize some aluminum foil, place it on top and fold it around the neck. It's not airtight, but it keeps most of the critters out.
I know people put valves on stainless pots, but has anyone put one on an aluminum pot? I would think it would be possible, just wondering what are some pros or cons.
What are some limiting factors when using a 5 gallon MLT vs a 10 gallon? I am considering venturing into all grain and I was just comparing prices of the two coolers. I could buy two 5 gallon coolers for the price of one 10 gallon.
