    First Batch!!!

OH, a late Welcome to the obsession! couldn't agree more with what torque said... i just never go around to looking it up. at any rate, you might have some esters but i would bet that the beer still turns out much better than BMC.

Help me construct my Christmas List!!

+1 bigger pot for full boils and late extract addition would also suggest though its weird for being on the christmas list, some fermentation temperature control equipment and perhaps some supplies to make yourself a stirplate. those three things will give you huge payoffs in the end even for...

    roxy rolles

i don't know, i went through a whole 15 gallons of it and it was as delicious the first drop as the last drop. its not an everyday drinker though, you do have to break it up with something else but going back to it after not having it, will be awesome

I need a good, cheap beer recipe

+1 to all, and i would add, stay away from any lager style beer. equipment alone for that is too expensive for your first "i don't wanna F up beer" BUT, my first batch was a kit and it turned out great...

    co2 2 or 3 way distribution splitter

Wondering if anyone has ever built/fab'd/made/etc. a distributer to split off co2 lines off of the co2 regulator or wherever to run multilple kegs off of 1 tank. i am sure there is a way because it seems like lowes/home depot has all the necessary components but i am not the problem solving type.

    roxy rolles

Well, I was looking for a Roxy Rolles clone and came across this. It doesn't do me any good because i am extract with steeping right now but here is what it is. I have a brewing buddy who has made it and side by side was damn near perfect. Magic Hat Roxy Rolles American Amber Ale 6 gallon...

we will see in about a week i guess. just hoping that i don't have to polish off 5 gal. because it is going to degrade in flavor.

hefe best if consumed 4 weeks from capped?

i happened to go by the LHBS and the owner and i started talking. he commented that my recently bottled heffe should be fully consumed in the next 4 weeks or it will degrade in quality. From everything i have read and learned and whatnot i thought that the first 10 days of capped is just...
