Munich classic is the dry yeast version of wlp300... I've brewed identical batches using both yeast and they turn out identical brews .... And absolutely zero people can tell the difference and more than half of them are either native German or lived 10+ years in Germany ( myself included)...

Recipe looks good only tweak I would do is ditch the licorice... seriously that stuff is nasty....

My take on ninjas recipe is clear with out any fining agent other than some whirlfloc in the boil kettle... I used the wyeast kolsch I yeast though.. don't know which yeast you used.

Well do some Willamette or Cascade hops right at boil and just a light late addition if you want...also some red rye would go nicely with this ... Might want to look at unrefined local sugar to give it a more unique flavor profile....

increase two row or make it 6 row instead and still increase .. I would go with something like this and change the honey to boil at about the 45 minute mark (15 minutes left in boil) 45% Wheat 30% 2 Row or 6 row 10% Honey (boil) 5% Rye 5% Cara 5% Oats make sure to do a good 120 degree protein...
