    Thanks for the heads up..I was not aware of the interchangeablity on the heads...I'm transitioning to TC and this will make my life easier and cheaper to just buy a new head for my chugger..

    I have a chugger and a mkii ( stainless heads on both)... The mkii is super quiet and I got it cheap brand new off eBay seller with a stainless head...if I didn't already have a chugger pump I would buy another mkii. Chugger is used primarily for the boil kettle and recurculating the hlt water...

    coconut you can bake like i mentioned before with the walnuts... i do a coconut cream ale and use toasted coconut in the fermenter once the yeast do their thing at hit FG... if you dont want to toast it then soak it in vodka or some other alcohol (rum maybe) to help kill off the bacteria.

    just gonna say that PBW soak (long long soak) and ample use of starsan are needed possibly. also ditto on not being sure if you could truely sanitize those peanuts (other than bake them for a while in the oven beforehand and toss in some star san before hitting the fermenter)... that's what...
