    What I did for beer today

    Upgraded the table at my brew station to a desk, office got new furniture, I run the maintenance department, scored a desk now I have ORGANIZED ingredients, brewing tools and small parts storage...and my grain bill for BJCP 21b Christmas special beer came today.. brew day Saturday.

    troubleshooting priming sugar error

    Give them some more time, also , you might GENTLY take each bottle, invert it several times then return them to the upright position, doing so will help redistribute any yeast or sugar that may have settled.

    Don't Do That.

    Use a pistol grip hose nozzle to rinse the inside of the bottles if it fits snugly using city water presure- yea, they explode -DONT DO THAT.

    Thirsty today, I had 2 HB Octoberfest, but my wife made lobster rolls for dinner, I pulled the lobstet pots ahead of the hurricane, so everything from now until spring will be frozen, but, I'll have a steady supply of black IPA, which is my "desert"

    Did some house cleaning, upgraded my brew cart,by making my power supply for my steam trap part of the stand,put away some equipment I no longer use, and made my R/O water for next weeks brewday then ordered my grain bill for a spiced holiday whit beir... now I've cracked open an Octoberfest...

    What I did for beer today

    Added my Irish Red to the secondary to free up my SSBrewtec for today's brew ..secondary is tem controled via heat pad and SS brewtech cool stix hooked to an inkbird controler and my red neck chiller.

    I'll say you learned alot from this experience(at least I hope you did), tackling a lager for you first brew is a tall order, withoutbstarting and final SG readings,my guess,amongst other things, is it's not fully fermented, not knowing your entire sanitation process, alot of other things...

    Started the day procuring 5lbs of frozen cherries for my cherry porter, tough finding frozen sour cherries with no added sugar or preservatives..3rd stop at a "health food store " provided me with 5 lbs, back home,my wife toasted 1 lb of cocoa nibs and thawed the cherries, meanwhile, I drained...

    Another legend lost, his animal rights stuff was a little much, but he did more good than bad.. Sad day last year when Alex Trebek passed away too.
