    Any brew-software for Android?

I uninstalled, got a refund. After your PM, I simply repurchased and reinstalled the app, and the databases are there. Don't know what you did, or if my situation was just a fluke, but I am off and running. Thanks!

    Any brew-software for Android?

Paid for and installed Brewdroid. The hop and fermentable databases were empty. Were they supposed to be populated with ingredients or is that all on me to do? $4 isn't a lot of money, but there's really not much here for me that I can't get for free with other apps. I got a refund, but I'm...

    time from mash to boil

In agreement with those above. I measure and crush my grains the night before, as well as weigh out my hops and put them into baggies. I usually hop burst, so I usually have a half hour or 45 minutes of time during the boil when I sanitize post-boil equipment, empty and clean the mash tun...

Anyone know what this kind of glass is called?

    Damn, that pizza looks good!

    Dry Hop in Keg?

The randall linked above is mine, and it was so easy to build. It works great, too. Also, I dry hop in the keg. I leave the hops in there until the keg is kicked. I haven't noticed any off flavors or grassiness.

Post your Randall build and Parts list.

Here's a write up on mine. Pretty simple, and I mainly just used parts I found at Farm and Barn. http://dcsanders.com/?p=57 The filter housing I settled on had 3/4 inch threads, so I used 3/4 to 1/2 inch fittings, then a 1/2 to 1/4 inch flare, since they ddn't have 3/4 to 1/4 inch flare...

    Question about building a Randall

If I would have thought this up a couple of weeks ago, I'd be set. I scored a cheap local keg that was being used as a lamp. I had one of our maintenance guys take this plasma cutter to it, and I think he tossed the innards. I should ask him! But the blowoff tube, which I cut to around 10.5"...

    Question about building a Randall

That was my thought. I guess I will just have to assemble it and find out the rest for myself! :mug:

    Question about building a Randall

Hey gang, So I have everything I need to build a Randall except for the often mentioned steel tube in the middle. My question is, a 10" chunk of blowoff tube would fit perfectly on the filter housing I got. If I were to drill some 1/16 or so holes in the bottom third of the tube, would it work...

Pabst Blue Ribbon blended 33 to 1?

Wonderful stuff. Really puts a different perspective on the era, as opposed to the usual B&W stuff. I would assume that many breweries blend batches for the sake of consistency.

    Any brew-software for Android?

Brewer for Android has recipe management now! I had problems upgrading to the newest version (1.5.1), but the developer was very cool in helping me out. Totally recommend this app!

    Any brew-software for Android?

That one looks ok, too. It's only $2, which isn't unreasonable, I just don't see too much discerning it from a free app like Brewzor. I'd really like a mobile beersmith, honestly. It'd be cool to have something that I can use at homebrew meetings to explain recipes and stuff, but I can always...

Free 3M home water test kit.

I got that same email. Bummer. Wish they'd have mentioned that on their site prior to me giving them their email address and posting that information here!

Good advice. I'll do some digging. Cheers!

Free 3M home water test kit.

Wow. I've stopped in and emailed, and the MOST I got was a 'customer confidence report'. When I asked further, they said "that's all we know". Our water is VERY hard.

Free 3M home water test kit.

No, but it's better than what the hacks at the water department here will give me!

Free 3M home water test kit.

A coworker who is big into saltwater tanks sent me this link: http://www.3mcleanerworld.com/Content/TestWater.jsp?bmUID=1267693239421 Just some basic info to give them (home address, email) and this will (hopefully) come your way. It says it "Tests for Total Chlorine, Free Chlorine, Iron...

    Any brew-software for Android?

Just got my Android phone today (Samsung Moment via Sprint), and I went straight for the Brewzor. Thanks for your hard work! Looks very useful.
