Cold Crashing in my Stainless Fermenter. How long can I keep cold crashing my 5 gallons of Homebrew? Do to circumstances beyond my control, I may have to let it go for over a week. It’s at 39 degrees. Was wondering if there’s any side effects on the Brew if crashing it to long ? thanx… Cheers !

I put a Tri clamp on the fermenter lid with a ball lock head. How much co2 pressure should I keep on the fermenter if I kept a co2 cylinder hooked up to it while cold crashing? Then what pressure when closed transfer to Keg ? Cheers 🍺

I believe the hops should be submerged. i used about 15 sanitized marbles in a hop sack to get them to sink. My Hop Ball also sinks them. Maybe give that a shot. IMO my hop ball compresses the hops to tightly if I use the maximum amount of hops it can hold but both worked well. They make Keg...

Did you try a different Hops like Tettnanger? Whats the AA? Do you hop in a sock or Hop Ball ? You should get some Aroma with 6 Oz’s

I use Brewers Friend software. That’s where I got the DP-54. My Mash was 5.36 at 15 minutes. Most of my Brews are around 88 DP or higher. I was worried about the DP 54 but I guess it worked out. Was a brutal Brew day. Temperatures were pushing 96 + degrees out there. 🥵 Might name it Brutal Brew 🍺 😆

Well I brewed it and came out with 1.060 OG. Mash 5.36 @ 15 minute. Efficiency was 77% tasted nice from the Hydrometer Tube. Guess it’s gonna be fine.
