    I have done the five gallon batch with a jack lalane juicer. I had to stop after about a dozen apples or So to clean out the pulp.     I would go to Walmart and grab one of those heat pads for your shoulder or back. You should be able to wrap the bucket or carboy. Set it to lowest setting and watch it. The electric ones.

    Hey everyone. First lager is in the fridge and life got in the way. New baby a month early and the such. I did an extract Octoberfest and its about three weeks after recommended bottling date. Should I worry about re-pitching or do you think I should be ok? It's been sitting at about 36-38...

    What would be your thoughts on bottling. Would you repitch yeast for fear of the yeast being to old? I have an Octoberfest that is about 3 weeks past bottling timeline for recipe kit.

    I tried this as my first and it went south quick. My mash temps were all wrong and o got no conversion at all. Ended up making a 2% abv. Still tasted ok though. I hope to revisit this later.
