    7lb co2 tank?

Check to make sure your LHBS or gas exchange place will refill them. I was about to buy one because of the price, but luckily I called beforehand because my local gas exchange wouldn't have exchanged it.

    Cider Serving Container

I agree with ^^^, put it in a keg in the kegerator, but just use a picnic tap. I do the opposite, to keep the kegerator in the kitchen and all my brewing equipment in the house I keep a designated tap to cider for my swmbo and just suffer having one of my other beers on a picnic tap.

how i make all my own malt

Got you, thanks for the advice! Do you think it would dry them out too much since the blower would be on?

how i make all my own malt

I love the set-up! I have a quick question... If the dryer has a no heat/just air setting could you just use the dryer as the couching (or whatever you call the rolling blue barrel) device and then, when ready, use the heat setting on the dryer for drying the modified barley? Would this work...

    "Class 3" Ball-Lock Kegs

I bought two of these a year ago and have had no problems with them. I just ordered two more sunday morning. They don't always have them available, I've been checking for a while because the local cornies are around $40 each.

Newell's Groundhog Cider (woodchuck amber clone)

Just kegged a 5-gallon batch of this. SWMBO absolutely loves it, and I enjoy a pint or two every once in a while. Very easy drinking cider that tastes a lot like Woodchuck amber! Thanks for posting this recipe!!!

    Insulated Ducting vs. Mini Fridge

I've been doing something similar for a fermentation chamber. I only keep it at 68 degrees, but it holds very nicely. I have a standard upright fridge and use two computer fans hooked to a temperature control (one pulling and one pushing through an insulated duct). The chamber is 45" x 37" x...

    Mango Pulp Wine

So, this is my first wine... It started at about 1.095 SG and finished around .999 SG. It was nice and clear in the primary. My problem is that when I transferred I got some of the fruit lees with it (not a big deal I think), but I have a huge amount of head space over the wine...is this going...

Can A Keezer Double as a Fermentation Chamber???

I have a fridge, but it is very efficient for me. I took computer fans and connected them to a temperature controller ($30 aquarium controller) and drilled a hole in the side of the freezer and made an insulated bridge connecting the "duct" to an insulated box. Works great!

    My Fermentation Chamber Build

A guest room my wife has allowed me to invade as long as I make plenty of wines, ciders, and GF beers. Also, I can store all my equipment under it so it is no longer in random areas around the house

    My Fermentation Chamber Build

So, I have finally begun building my Fermentation Chamber! From what I can tell, it is a different design than others I have seen, but greatly thankful to all the build threads that inspired me to build this!!! I framed out my box with wood, and put it on stilts 3' above the ground so that I can...

Has anyone tried Clarity Ferm (Brewers Clarex) from White Labs?

Just read through this thread, this is my first time hearing about clarity-ferm, and I am eager to try this! My wife is a celiac and has wanted to try some of the products of my obsession, but the gluten content has held her back. I know this is a relatively new product, but reading through this...

Cornstalk Ale ***Spotted Cow Inspired***(Gluten Reduced)

I've been reading about this Clarity-Ferm and it sounds incredible! My wife is a celiac as well, she found out a couple months after we got engaged. I started brewing soon after we got married (almost 2 years ago), but she has not been able to try any of my brews except for the first cider I...
