    Keezer Temperature Issues

Morning all! So I am so close to being done with my keezer, but I ran into a problem. So last night I hooked up my Ranco to the keezer. My wiring looks like this (see attached diagram). Once complete I set the Ranco to 39 degrees, cooling, with a 1 degree difference (thinking about...

    Help Understanding Yeast Starters

So, I am currently in the process of building my stir plate and have learned the following lesson: When the threads say to use a power supply fan, they mean it. I initially tried to use a CPU fan, however, it just pulses rather than runs. This has somethign to do with the extra two wires I'm...

    Help Understanding Yeast Starters

Homercidal - that is a really good idea!! Help Understanding Yeast Starters

Background: I have brewing now for about 2 years; made the switch over to all grain about 6 months ago. I have done some reading, though it has been a while now so I should go back and reread, but I seem to recall that making larger starter batches for bigger beers should utilize the same...

    MORE Stupid Newbie Kegging Questions

So, I would like to preface this response with the following - I have only kegged once and I am still grappling with getting it right - i.e. it still isn't coming out properly. I had some discussions with my LBS (local brew shop) folks and told him how I had done it: 1) rack beer into keg...
