    Late extract brewing

I used to add it all at the start then moved to half and half. Now I add all of it the last couple minutes of the boil and i have been getting considerably better and clearer beers. So I add 0 extract at the beginning.

    Lagunitas - Little Sumpin'

It's their summer beer...it's been on shelves for a few months. It's a dry hopped american wheat ale like Gumball Head. Little Sumpin Wild is a limited release i believe that only comes in bombers.

Ever brew a beer - and hate it?

I brewed a raspberry wheat with 5lbs of raspberries and just thought it was god awful but everyone else that came in contact with it including my hb club thinks it's amazing and want me to rebrew...I still hate it but go figure.

    Stone "Sublimely Self-Righteous" Ale

I had a bomber last night (to my self so it was a good night). It has been awhile since I was blown away like that by a beer I just thought it was excellent. I can't speak much for the style because the only other one i've has is Southern Tier's Inequity, but just looking at it from straight up...

    Keg conditioning under carbonation

That's how I do it. I decide what volume of co2 I want and set the regulator to that psi for a week or so then set at serving temp for another two weeks....then drink.

    I hate bottling.

I just rack my carboy in a keg and set in the keezer, takes me about 5 mins. No but all seriousness hobbies shouldnt stress you out hell it should be a stress reliever, just make zen with the bottling and accept it takes some devoted time or invest in keg set up. My first keg and keezer set me...

    Test batch with oaking/"bourboning"

Ok I just bottled the test batch today. I ended up soaking .5oz of cubes in bourbon for a week then tossing just the chips into the 1 gallon jug. After a week I bottled and threw a shot of bourbon in at bottling as well (should have thrown the soaked bourbon in but I was worried about to much...

What do you drink during football games?

For me light crisp lagers that I can drink straight from the bottle (i know craft beer no no) is what I crave for a football game. Yesterday it was a couple Yuenglings and New Glarus Totally Naked. I'm sure that will change because during the nhl playoffs it was all about having an imperial...

    When life gives you lemons....

Strainer would actually work perfect. Just siphon onto strainer above bottling bucket or keg.

    Looky looky

I had a 25th tonight and it is a very good strong ale but just that, not what I expected from a beer bells brewed and labeled in honor of their 25th anniversary.

    When life gives you lemons....

I will say if and when I brew this again after two weeks in secondary I will rack again and cold crash for a week. I bottled these rig after secondary and there were raspberries everywhere even floating in bottles it was a mess. Now there is just a bunch of sediment in the bottles and if not...
