Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

I will post the story once I've really started putting that together! As of for the elevation...I can throw a stone in the ocean from where I stand. I guess I can assume that as 0 elevation. :D

Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

Yeah, I know. I use this to calculate: L = (keg_pressure – 1 – (Height/2)) / Resistance Temp will be at 38F I guess, but I'm not there for now. I dont even have the fridge yet. :cross: I'm building the glycol cooled tower (wood) at the moment and will then build my trunk line.

Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

Yeah, I saw numbers between 6' and 20'. I think I will go with 1/4 tubing. I have 15' distance with a 8' vertical rise. I don't think it would work well with 3/16 tubing even if the resistance is lower than they state. I will connect 3/16 choker lines inside the keezer to balance with more...

Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

    Anyone using the 1/4?

Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

Strange....thats what I just got from the manufacturer. I asked twice if this table is valid for the Bev-Seal Ultra...they said that the "Barrier" column is valid for Bev-Seal Ultra® Series 235. 2.2 is really high! Any thoughts?

Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) resistance?

Hi, I was searching all over but I can’t find the resistance for a Bevlex Ultra (Bev Seal Ultra) 3/16 line. Anybody can help with that? Thanks,

    Beer line length

Is there any downside in connecting the ¼ tubing directly to my tower? I would balance/adjust the line length on the keezer side.

is boiling jars necessary for harvesting yeast?

I never boil them. I truly clean the jars and use Starsan after that. Never had any infection nor any other problems doing so. I harvest from starters or wash after fermentation.

Yeah, but is it normally clear before you pour the yeast?

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

I brewed this a few weeks ago. It tastes great but I have a question about clarity. That was my first brew with such a high amount of wheat. I was under the impression that the wheat will make the beer hazy, but I can’t confirm that. The beer is crystal clear when I pour from the bottle, it...

    STC-1000 long probe cable length

I'm not an electrical genius and I hope for your advice. I need to measure temperature, like 10’ away from a STC-1000. Can I extend the cable for the probe or will that affect the reading? Thanks

    Beer line length

Thanks for the advice! Why do I need “choker lines”? Can’t I just connect directly with ¼? I saw that there are 1/4 tailpieces. As of for the glycol... I will use a normal fridge for the kegs, the glycol will be in the freezer compartment. I will use a pond pump to circulate the glycol.

    Beer line length

Thats why! The trunk line is $11.61 a feet. Its for sure not more than 15' from the fridge to the tab. I don't want to run the additional 10' outside the fridge as that would be way more expensive. On the other hand...can I fit 10' x 4 (4 kegs) in my fridge? Thats 40' of 1/4 tubing.

    Beer line length

After a little more reading... Correct me if I'm wrong. I understand that a 3/16 line will not work as I would need to go up with the pressure and over carbonate the beer. I could run a 15’ insulated trunk line (1/4) from tab to my fridge and connect that to a additional 10’ ¼ line...
