Might I suggest a stainless steel or aluminum bottle rather than glass?

If I remember, mine finished around 1.015 FG. Tasty as can be. Fermented in a 6.5 gallon carboy and learned all about a blow off tube in a hurry. I will be brewing again and probably soon. Btw, this was the extract version.

Green Flash. I do not buy it now for just the bottle. When I first tried their Palate Wrecker, I was just trying their beer and kind of liked the bottle. Turns out I like how their short bottles pour, how easy they are to store and carry, how easy their labels come off and have yet to have one...

Plinian Legacy bottled today so we now have an Irish Stout in secondary and a Vandal Eyes PA in primary that brewed today. All are NB extract kits. Think I will try a BIAB in the real near future. Next stop on the path to all grain. :tank:

I knew brewing on a gas flame was going to be a lot faster than on the kitchen stove. Still just a bit amazed at how much faster. Shaved a full hour off the normal brew day. Didn't hurt that it was a NB Irish Stout and that thing is so simple and easy it would be hard to stretch the time out any...

I have a batch in one right now. First time I have used it and the one short coming is the smaller bung hole that an auto-siphon won't fit in. Otherwise, it looks to be a darn nifty device.

Bottled a Norther Brewer Dundalk Irish Heavy and moved a couple others to secondary.

Not quite six gallons of NB Plinian Legacy now that it is in secondary and five-ish gallons of NB Honey Wheat for a friend's birthday in secondary today as well. Nothing in primary and probably won't be for a week or two simply because we are out of space in the overflow (spare tub) chamber.

Nice April fool activity. Count me in please.

But, the secondary has a Northern Brewer Dundalk Irish Heavy sitting in it right now.:D There will be a Hefe in the primary by Saturday afternoon. :tank:

Dundalk Irish Heavy in the pot right now. I'll see about some photos once it is in the primary. One steamy photo is about all I managed today... It is now in the primary bucket and the OG is about two short... seems like a theme today.

Made a mess in the kitchen today. Thought a lid might help speed things along a bit. Oh boy did it. I will be scrubbing at this mess for a while.

Northern Brewer Plinian Legacy showed up today. It will have to wait a bit though; my charming bride bought me a Dundalk for my birthday. I'll be firing that up this weekend.

Add me to the peanut IPA group. A mouthful of hops would be a bit rough.
