    leaving labels on?

First and foremost--select beer that has easy to remove labels.:mug: After much extensive research :cross:, Sam Adams clearly has the easiest label to remove. They remove themselves if you follow the method below. I found that the most effective method is to first rinse your bottles when...

Any advice on Island Mist kits?

Not a good idea to add the F-Pack to the primary due to sorbate. It may hinder your fermentation.

    Munton's Brewing Info Needed

I was given a 3.3 lb. can of Munton's American Style Light Beer LME, 3 lbs. of Munton Extra Light DME and 1 lb. of corn sugar with no instructions. I have brewed extracts and BIB's, but none of the no-boil brews. I am well versed in the principles of brewing, but this Munton is rather unusual...

Wort Chillers - Can you Reshape Them to Fit New Kettle?

As long as you take your time copper is pretty forgiving. Patience is the key--go too fast and a kink will result. Let us know how you come out when you are done. 90 feet is a lot of copper!!!

    Plum Wine Help

I am working on my first batch of fruit wine. My wife really likes the sweet wines, so when I added my sugar, I added more than the recipe called for. My starting SG was 1.118. All has been going well, fermentation in progress, SG dropping and is now 1.022 which is right at 12.5% ABV. If I...
