Kegged this on day ten so I could have it on tap for NYE. Everyone really liked it even though it was still a little green. Even converted a strict coors light drinker that never drinks my "hipster beer" lol.

So I thought I was going to brew this weekend so I started a yeast starter. I was about to throw the yeast in and my wife said we had stuff to do this weekend. Can I just put the yeast starter with no yeast in it in the fridge ? Will it last a few weeks since its got no yeast and just basically...

Is one pack of Safale-05 enough for a 5 gal batch or are you guys using two? mr malty says 1.3 packs but i dont want to waste a second pack if its not needed.
