    I know, probably not very popular but it's a cream ale. Decided to go all grain at the start. I may be biased, but I think it tastes pretty good. Mine is on the left. Commercial example on the right. I like mine, just saying I think I like this hobby.

    Made my first mead tonight. Took the easy way out and made a JAOM. Went together easy and started bubbling about half an hour later. I've only got about four beer brews under my belt but saw this recipe and wanted to give it a shot. Hope to learn more about mead as well as beer.

    I'm new at this and want someone to verify my results please. I'm brewing small batches and only have a refractometer to check sg. I brewed a cream ale on Feb 1 which had an og of 12 Brix which using the calculator converts to 1.048. I just took another reading and got 6 Brix using the...
