How big of a batch can you do on a stove?

It’s all about the BTU’s. I have a commercial style range with 22,000 BTU burners, which are significantly bigger than your average range. 5 gallon batches are a breeze, 10 no problem. I’ve never tried 15, but I’d bet it’s doable. If you’re going bigger than 15, I’d guess you almost have to...

What came in the mail for you today?

Very nice Boulevard was my introduction to craft beer. When I was in college circa 1994, the bar/restaurant that I worked at added Boulevard Wheat to it‘s lineup. Wheat Beer? WTF? My life changed forever that night. Good times.

A bunch of questions about kegging...

I‘ve been looking for an inexpensive and sturdy container to store the recycled StarSan that I use to sanitize and then push out of my collection of 2.5 gallon kegs...one of these seems like it may be just the right thing for the job.

Considering an Anvil Foundry Brewing System

Agreed. Plus, I enjoy brewing as much as drinking. 2.5 gal batches is way more fun to me.

I hate carpet in general. Always seemed like nothing more than a dirt and dust trap to me. Hardwood is the way to go.

A bunch of questions about kegging...

You can just pressurize the kegs with a short burst of CO2 and then disconnect and let them sit for a while. This will ensure a good seal on your keg while the beer continues to condition. That would free up your tank for whatever else you want it for. Only downside is that you will still have...

The music that shaped my life.

I don’t like most Country Music anymore either. A lot of todays popular country is too manufactured sounding, too cliche. But there’s still a handful of artists out there keeping the genre alive in my world. I know you said you watched some videos, not sure if this is one of them, but it’s...
