    Air Roasting?

I started using a stainless steel dog bowl and a heat gun :)

    Air Roasting?

That's where I get my green coffee. It's only 10 minutes from my house. I've been roasting for maybe 10 years. Check out the Behmor 1600 Plus, drum roaster will comfortably do 12 oz. I do it in the garage by a window and have a fan going, still smokes up the garage and my neighbors smell it :)

What came in the mail for you today?

My "short and Stocky" immersion chiller. A very nice piece of craftmanship. https://cussbrewing.com/collections/frontpage/products/short-and-stocky And checking my email my eBIAB recirculating system from Brew Hardware just shipped. Will really make my day if my electrician calls to tell me he's...

What came in the mail for you today?

Yesterday was like Christmas; got my Komos three tap kegerator, Monster Mill MM3, and a scale with enough capacity to weigh grains. I'm gearing up to do some all grain brewing. Also bought but not received yet a Brew Hardware eBIAB recirculating system with Blickmann Brew Commander. And my...

    What are you drinking now?

I bought a can of North Coast Brewing Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout to compare to the clone recipe I brewed. Even though mine was only bottled 10 days ago mine compares favorably. Should only get better.

    Komos Kegerator?

I have one more question related to ordering the Komos/Kegland kegerator. There are different taps offered and since I have never had a kegerator; are the flow control nukataps the recommended? What's the difference? Thanks, John

    Komos Kegerator?

This thread is very timely for me. I'm looking at buying the Komos/Kegland V2 probably today. I'm just trying to decide how many taps to get. I really only need two, but for the difference in price I may just spring for four as you never know. I really liked seeing the pic of the multiple...

    Grain mill recommendation

Thanks for the feedback. Although we not far from the coast we don’t have high humidity here (SF Bay Area). I think I’ll go with the MM3, not going to go with the three roller geared model w/ 1/2 drive shaft.

    Grain mill recommendation

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I did try searching as I thought it would be common question.

    Grain mill recommendation

I'm making the jump from extract to all grain and now I need a mill. I'm looking at several and thought I'd tap the brain trust for recommendations. MoreBeer has a few I'm interested in Malt Muncher 3 roller and Mighty Mill 3 roller, the later comes with a base board and has SS rollers, where...

    What are you drinking now?

The Deshutes Fresh Squeezed clone recipe I brewed today (in hydrometer)) looks a lot like the Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA I’m drinking now. Which I really like.

Storing bottled beer; proper storage temperature

I've been brewing for ~a year probably a dozen or so batches all extract kits. But I'm heading in the BIAB direction but been lately looking at AIO systems like Brewfather G40 or Brewzilla 65L but need a 240v circuit in my garage/brew space. To answer I've always tried to minimize oxygen...

Storing bottled beer; proper storage temperature

Thanks. The recommended fermentation temperature was 68-70, and I stayed pretty close to that, however I did ferment under pressure (my first time). The previous batch an IPA was flat and I needed to use my Fermentemp heat jacket w/ Inkbird controller to try to keep the temp higher and it took...
