"dry fitting" using wood and cinder blocks. Trying to get a rough idea on heights, etc.
Planning on a cart similar to JohnW's (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f253/single-tier-3-pump-bcs-462-automated-rig-204705/) and the Coloradoan one...
Wouldn't have thought it would have been so hard to find pot lids. Picked up three of these:

Hi there. Still working on stuff. Cleaned out the room last week and pulled off the walls. Today I reran electric to ceiling lights and put 8 outlets on the far wall. Put the ceilings and walls back up.
Also wired the GFCI spa panel and put a dryer outlet below.
Waiting on parts to arrive...
Thanks. Would you put the SSRs for the ferm fridges in the control panel or next to the fridge in a gang box? Basically, should I try to get all my SSRs upfront even if I wont be using them right away as it would be easier to install them upfront.
So could I use this SSR for 4 components? 25a might be a little small for 5500 watt elements, but any reason it wouldn't work for pumps and ferm fridges?

Thanks all. I can't believe I'm considering this, but I'm now looking at their complete DIY kits now. Even at 1500$, it's pretty fair when you start piecing together the enclosure, components, BCS, and wiring. Ugh, what an expensive hobby.
Yeah, that's where I'm ok with a small markup, everyone's gotta make some money and I'm paying for a convenience. Just want the price to be comparable and what you've said is it's pretty close.
Hi all,
Piecing together a BCS system and at the point where I need to buy the components for my control panel. Planning on two control panels, one for the elements / pumps and one for the BCS, will allow me to keep the BCS powered for fermentation fridges but turn off the brew control panel...
A friend picked this up from someone. It's pretty big, I'd estimate 40-50 gallons. All stainless steel.
He thought it was used for some type of moonshine or beer fermentation.
Any ideas?
