I really like the sct-1000 but I think I will end up gifting it to my bro in law once I get my raspberry Pi based RaspberryPints+BrewPi integrated system setup... Really a dedicated computer/webserver for both tap list and fermentation control with the ability to add-on doodads over time..

I ordered the SainSmart dual relay board to tie into the arduino with some 20cm single pin jumper cables so I won't have to unsolder the male pins.

was this a recipe? how did you get to 6 gallons of wort in the first place? a white IPA may not be the easiest first beer, especially fermented at room temp and likely weakened by 1 gal of extra water (assuming you were targeting a 5gal batch?) should be interesting.

um.. sample and test FG via the racking port? how do you think the big boys do it? they dont judge if its done by looking at it.

Yes,it's style.css in the rpints folder. Each font style has a color specified. They will be in the classes for H1, H2, etc and will have a hex code for the color like color: #ffffff Replace the ffffff with another hex color value, save the file and reload the browser to see the new change.

How do you get a scratch on the inside when all that's in there is liquid? Exterior will scratch depending on how you handle it. Look at any stainless commercial kitchen there are scratches everywhere.
