    Silicone tubing problems..

Fits fine, I use both the original hand made versions (I ground the threads off an elbow) and the new factory made ones.

Reinforced silicon is the way to go. Yes is cost a bunch, buy once, cry once. Check for sale, occasionally someone buys a crap.load and sells it for a good price

Minnesota Stainless Counterflow with all TC fittings

China, they are on AliExpress. I used the old Williams sold(not tri clamp). Not as good as copper, but works good. Batch size does not matter, it is flow rate. Would be great if they made these in 30ft or if you chained two in a series. I typically recirc to drop initial temp say to 260...

    Kegco Stainless CFC

I typically re circ to knock out the initial heat, after that you can get pretty good flow into the fermenter

    Kegco Stainless CFC

I have the old Williams brewing one, looks identical. I upgraded to it from a copper version. Copper was faster and more efficient, but I wanted to remove copper from my brewing. With my system and filtering I use, the difference in efficiency was barely noticeable.

eHerms, temp differentials, and denaturing - oh my! Spike system

I dough in with strike water both hlt and mash water at +8 degrees. I turn off the element and mash pump, but leave hlt pump on while doughing in, this allows my hlt to drop a degree or two. I dough in and usually come in a few degrees low. Then set you hlt temp at your mash temp(plus 1 or 2...

    Utility Sink Plumbing Advice

I would vote for a large basin and sideboard. You will use an integrated drain/shelf far more than two sink basins. For plumbing, I split of the copper pipe and added a 1/4 hose bib. I added camlocks and disconnects to the hose bib. This allows me to use the sink and clean equipment at the...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Been asked on here a few times, but the thread is long. I use the brew hardware trub filter with 200 micron screen, works well. I can look up my thread on it if you want.

What I did for beer today

10 ozs of dry hops on day 7 for my neipa, that's on top of 8oz in day 3. 10 g batch. Pushed co2 through the dump valve to limit o2 exposure. 10psi was way too much. Had foam coming out my tri on the lid and hop dust was blowing in the wind. All we are is hop dust in the wind.

Isolated Yeast (Tree House): How to Identify and Characterize?

I use clarity ferm and whirlfloc. I do not get the murky haze everyone gets, but don't care. Still taste amazing. Like to keep my gluten intake down. I really should try without them both though
