    Using Elderberries

I threw this in Lambic/wild cause if I I toss elderberries in primary or the like I'll be introducing something wild for sure. Anyway, I'm brewing up 10 gallons of a simple malt bill with WL American Farmhouse blend and I picked 12 oz of ripe elderberries and was thinking about throwing...

Heady Topper: Drink from the can or from the glass

The label recommends drinking from the can which I of course found silly initially too. Maybe the primary reason is its apparent ugliness for the non-homberewer-filtered beer drinking average consumer. However, my thought is that as we all of course know the sweet of our tongue is on the tip...

    WLP 565 Saison Experience... Again

Well done! Its all about using the real live liquid WL cultured yeasts and warm ferms for saisons. Dry yeasts suck, period, especially for specialty strains.

Room for CO2 tank on hump of 7.0 cu ft GE Freezer?

Two. One; when you make a keezer its best to add a wooden collar on top that you can refit your hinges to and run your tap lines through. Use a wider 2x like 6, it'll look cool and you'll have plenty of room. Two; consider Sanke kegs! Its really not that tough to work with them and they...

    made-in-china.com conicals?

Aruba, Jamaica…oh wait…Thats ok I'm from Detroit. Totally considerable risk involved! Nonetheless, as much as I like the US made Morebeers, at $900 for a 14g, $200-400 is sounding worth the risk for a 50L with a little surface rust. Of course terrible welds would be very bad, but the chinese...

    made-in-china.com conicals?

Thanks, yeah I don't really like the large lid on the Stouts and from what more beer has to offer it looks like they make them in their shop which is great. Nonetheless, Stout has a great PDF on wiring up a cpu cool and heat control setup which of course Morebeer builds at a fair, but very high...

    made-in-china.com conicals?

I'm beyond over not having a closed system and I need a conical! Yes the Morebeers look really nice…That said the $1000 plus legs, casters etc is forcing me to look at the myriad of options from places like made-in-china.com. At $200-$500 a pop and many styles and options I'm wonder whom out...
