So... Day 17... the batch with WLP300 is bubbling at a rate of appx. once every 30 seconds. The batch with 3068 is at appx. once every 45 seconds. Ambient temp is 62F with fermstrips reading 66F. Thoughts? Ideas?

My 1 year anniversary will be in early January... my wonderful wife bought me a starter kit from NB for Christmas last year. I have brewed in excess of 20 batches and competed in a local homebrew competition in September. I think I am up to 10 fermenters total and I have collected enough 22 oz...

Day 16 and still bubbling... does fermentation EVER stop? :confused:

My wife doesn't like beer and she likes Ayinger's Marzen... far and away my favorite.

Controller temp was 67 and the thermometer tapes read 70 so I knocked it down to 65...

First thing I can report is VERY vigorous fermentation. I got home from work today and both fermenters had blown out and flooded the bottom of the freezer. Didn't have enough blowoff hose so I hadda make a quick run to Tractor Supply. Got the mess cleaned up... now we wait... :ban:

I don't have room in the fermenters... these batches are 5.5 gallons each as it is... I'm going to have STRONGER beer...:rockin:

I have consistently either hit projected numbers or been slightly high... I have a simple gravity driven system... a 10 gallon Igloo with homemade bazooka tube... most times, I batch sparge in two batches allowing about 8-10 minutes per batch... on the second batch, I refire the water to exact...

I brewed my first large batch (11 gallons) today... all-grain Bavarian Hefe using EdWort's recipe. Per the recipe, my OG should be 1.052... mine was 1.062. Preboil and postboil volumes were right... I followed the recipe exactly... temps were good. What happened?

Brewed a double batch today... split into two fermenters and pitched 3068 in one and WL300 in the other to compare the similarities and differences. Loving your recipes so far...

It seems Not So Much any more... I have been using them regularly and, of late, they have gotten VERY slow. My current order was placed 8 days ago and has not shipped yet...
