how do I hook up the Love TS2-010?

can anyone help me out with this? All I have is the unit and the probe, what gauge of wire do you use for power, how do you hook it up to the motor of the freezer? It came with a wiring diagram but I am so confused. Where do I start?

    do I return the corny?

thanks guys. I released all the pressure (so it is good that it is holding pressure) and noticed how it is designed. It has a new o-ring on it that was freshly oiled and I can see that when it is pressurized, the pressure will hold the lid shut. I think I am going to try bending it a bit...

    do I return the corny?

sorry if this is a dumb question. I got 2 corny's from midwest today and I was checking them out. I noticed that the bar that secures the lid is loose on one so it doesn't apply any pressure to hold down the lid, while on the other it holds it down nicely. Basically if I flip the bar over...

getting ready for first brew, want to make sure I have everything

I'm not sure I want to use a carboy. I may keep it in the bucket (primary only) and then straight to the corny and let it sit for a few more weeks.

getting ready for first brew, want to make sure I have everything

one more question. Since I am going to use a bucket (plastic fermenter) as my primary, how do you measure the temp? I am guessing that a thermometer strip won't work that well.

    build or buy a kegerator

good points about swapping the freezer if the other one goes bad. I did notice that you don't value your time at all and that is something that needs to be taken into account.

    build or buy a kegerator

because with a freezer I would have to build a collar, install some kind of temperature controller, etc. With this beer chiller, I need to cut a hole in the top for the tower and it is good to go. Plus the nice stainless look. If I can get a nice perlick for the right price then I might...

    build or buy a kegerator

I found some used ones on craiglist for much less than that. Plus I was thinking you might be able to go lower if you buy them at some auction for a restaurant that goes out of sale.

    build or buy a kegerator

wow thanks for all the great responses guys. I looked at freezers for a kegerator build, as well as towers, etc, but really like the look of the perlick beer coolers and I know you can find those pretty easy at restaurant auctions, which happen pretty often in larger cities. I just didn't see...

    build or buy a kegerator

Just a quick question. I am looking at getting a kegerator and have a couple of questions. 1 - Has anyone ever used a Perlick bottle coolers to make a kegerator from? Something similar to this: http://www.zesco.com/Perlick-Bottle-Cooler-BC48PG-pz552A023.htm 2 - What is the primary reason...
