Funny things you've overheard about beer

At a beer festivle in Rochester MN. "This beer smells like armpits and sweatsocks!". I laughed, unfortunately they were right and it tasted just like it smelled. I tried it hoping there would be a magically good underlying flavor. My bad!

    Anyone have a Fermentasaurus?

Thanks. Kind of why I asked. Taking that valve apart is, I'll be nice and just say painful. I used petroleum jelly and thought I would come apart easier. Anyway I love the pressure transfer aspect of this thing, makes in the house transfers nice and clean.

    Anyone have a Fermentasaurus?

Just finished my first brew in mine, a Helles. Pressure transfer and filtering went well, easy actually. I do have a question for other users though. Do you take the Butterfly Dump Valve Assembly apart each time?

Brewmaster Cronicals and their Glycol Chiller

Awesome jddevinn. I'm hoping to use the one they supply because it's only a 20 x 20 x 15 high foot print and it's only about $50 more than glycol chiller itself when I looked it up. Hopefully I won't have crash both at once with the smaller resivoir.

Brewmaster Cronicals and their Glycol Chiller

We have moved into an apartment and space is an issue so my freezer fermentation chambers had to go. Has anyone used two of the 7 gallon SS Brewtech Brewmaster Chronicals and their glycol chiller? IF so how well do they do cold crashing and lagering? Opinions welome.

Any fans of the SciFi series "FireFly"?

Serenity Valley is a winery near Columbia, MO. The owners are fans of the show and had a relative that did some of the set work on the movie.
