Moving from single tier to stand alone burners.

ITV I no longer have natural gas as an option. Rather than using LP in 20 lb tanks I stubbed my homes LP tank to the brewery. You are correct when stating the actual space savings between a single tier and two standalone burners. Besides simply wanting to change my brewery and processes I think...

Moving from single tier to stand alone burners.

My single tier two burner brew stand needs work. After 13 years or so I must replace one burner. And yes, it needs a good cleaning and shelving replacement etc. I don’t want to do the upgrades. The unit was built as a rollout operation. I would move it to the patio and connect to my natural gas...

Edelmetall Bru Burner vs Blichmann Floor Burner

I conjured up this old thread as it is a classic discussion comparing quality pieces of equipment. And much of the content relates to my application. Having made and used a single tier LP fired two burner for 15 years I would like to change up a bit. The rig needs one burner replaced and the...

Scaling a recipe for a SS Brewing Technologies 14 gallon fermentor

good advice here too. I will begin using the defamer. I am pushing that part my brewery to the limit. My remaining solution is to scale my planned brew to the hot side capacity. I will then fill the conical and use a carboy for the remaining wort. An advantage is I can play around and compare...

Scaling a recipe for a SS Brewing Technologies 14 gallon fermentor

You nailed my question. I currently ferment an 11.25 gallon brew in my 14 gallon SS Brewtech conical. I was hoping to discover I could get more out of it. thanks

Scaling a recipe for a SS Brewing Technologies 14 gallon fermentor

Bump please.... My hot side supports a 15 to 16 gallon brew. I have one SS Brewtech conical rated at 14 gallons. I would like to split a maximum batch of wort into a six and a half gallon carboy. Then, top off my 14 gallon conical to the max. What is the maximum wort volume of the 14 gallon...

    Riptide vs. Chugger pump

Bobby, are you suggesting going with maybe a cheaper pump? I am planning on using Brewtech for CIP. What might you have as a solution? I do want a SS head for connections.

    Riptide vs. Chugger pump

Currently using one March 809 HS. This pump is wonderful but at 10 years old.... Would like to add a backup pump as I brew 10 plus gallons and a failed aging pump is not fun. I am also interested in moving to a CIP system for my SS Brewtech 14 gallon conical. What might be a good solution...
