First high gravity BIAB - tips?

For my 10 gal pot, it runs about 2% more loss in winter. But that will be different for other pots or humidity in your area. I just run a batch of same kind of beer in winter and then in summer and plug in the numbers to beersmith and make a winter profile and a summer one.

What's the most cost effective way to move my brewing inside?

You don't have to have a controller to start. Just unplug when you are 3-5 degrees from target temp. Or add a on/ off switch https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-30-Amp-Industrial-Double-Pole-Switch-White-R62-03032-2WS/100356941. Later add a controller. You can fab up an extended collar the size...

First high gravity BIAB - tips?

One thing I have to take in consideration for boil off rate is the humidity. Here in the Southern US the humidity run very high so boil off is less. I have Beersmith set up with two equipment profiles- one for high humidity (summer) and one for low(winter). Its not perfect but it does help.

    UnKeezing a keezer

I use a Inkbird controller on mine. I use it for fermentation and to force carb so being able to adjust the temp easy is nice for me. I think they have a coupon posted . Edit: here is the link- https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/inkbird-temperature-controller-welfare-of-coupon-code.650577/

    BE-134 (I'm probably just impatient)

I just used this same yeast on 2 batches and it took about 3 weeks to finish. And it makes a very dry beer. Almost dry white wine like. I will again with a bit higher mash temp.

Plug large hole in brew pot

Is it a tri-clamp fitting? if so that make a filler plate that will clamp on. If not, you may be able to put a tri-clamp bulkhead in the hole and then the plate. But new owner may want to shild that spot fro direct flame

Advice - And the quest for perfection

Well, if you don't to here what others think, don't ask! I make beer I like, but if I ask others about it, I just take what the say with a filter. Beer judge?? going to pay attention to this one. Local brewmaster?? Ok, guy might have some idea what he is talking about. Brew club guys?? 50-50...

    Prices Going up Again... Yeast

A lot of the cost of yeast is shipping- either to you or to a store and then to you in higher cost. My local brew store just started carrying a yeast from a place only 30 miles away. Super fresh, higher count and less cost. He hopes to phase out most of the others over time
