    Frozen Beer

    Had a bottle of beer freeze on me...didn't realize it till after I had opened it. Let it thaw, tried to drink it.....the sink was thirsty, so I gave my beer to it. Flat, watery just plain waste of a good beer.:(

    I'll let you explain to SWMBO!! HAHAHA Oh that's not gonna go well, can I stay at your place! I may just end up having to do that, so maybe that project goes on the backburner until I have the right equipment to pull off that big of a brew. Thanks guys!

    only problem is I'm in podunkville, I know of only two others in the area. But that is an option if I could find more. I appreciate it! Any other ideas out there, or opinions on the bag idea?

    Fruit and such....

    if I remember correctly (and someone will correct me if I am wrong) DO NOT BOIL THE FRUIT the pectin will be released and it will cloud you beer up. I think you put the fruit in either after the boil, or in the fermentation period. Again corrections may be needed.

    luckily there wont be much from a winery that I can not get ahold of. My friend is the chemist at the winery here, and has permission (I think) to help me out a little. So you would not recommend trying what I asked, or try it but it won't taste like the Gulden Draak we all know and love...
