Ok, so the tanks have 3-05 and 8-05 on them. They are in good shape and don't have Coke or Pepsi on them.

When I get home I'll be checking the dates on them. I was figuring the gas was still good just wanted to verify. Thanks for the advice and reaffirming my guess. Ha, that's funny!

Dumb question but I was just offered two co2 tanks for free. One is full and the other is empty. Of course I'm taking them but I don't know how old they are. Can I trust that the gas inside is still good? Does co2 have an "expiration date"?
