    Best place for beer equipment/supplies

I've been brewing since last year and have not gad an infection yet. I use plastic buckets to ferment and love the ease of cleaning. I also have a glass carboy but have yet to use it. If you are looking at a secondary for dry hopping, you may want to consider doing so in the keg with bagged hops.

    Best place for beer equipment/supplies

Northern Brewer, Williams, and Midwest are favorites of mine. Find one close to you when ordering liquid yeast in the summer.

    Kegging a stout, carb question

I'm a shaker, but what I am interested in learning is, do you use the same technique if carbing with a mixed gas system? I plan on purchasing the equipment this summer and can hopefully find someone in the Fresno area to fill my bottle.

    Looking for a malt mill

Get a monster mill and be done with it. I recommend ordering direct from them as I think you can get a better price. Yes it's pricey up front, but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the info. My starter is on the stir plate spinning away. Will I notice anything as the wort starts to ferment?

    Cooling yeast starter

Before I ruin my flask, can anyone comment on putting a flask that was used to boil water and DME on a stove top in a kitchen sink with tap water?

Kegging-how long do you wait to drink it?

That is essentially my method. After primary, I prep a keg and purge the air with a couple of vents. I will put in my kegerator for 24 without a bottle on it. Next I pul it out and put 30 psi on the keg while rocking it back and forth for 10 to 15 minutes, then vent. After that I adjust to...

    Brilliant clarity without cold crashing

Just my two cents, but how does it taste? Clarity might be important for competitions, but doesn't matter much for anything else. If your beer tastes great, don't sweat the clarity.

JSP Malt Mill vs AHB Cereal Killer vs ...? Help!

Totally love the performance of my mill. Only had to make one run through and hit my target OG exactly. I highly recommend getting a monster mill.

    Group buy

I read a lot about these on the forums, but I'm not sure if I understand them. I order 50 pound bags of base for around $35 and then pay $20 for shipping. When someone is doing a group buy, are you ordering online or from a home brew store? If ordering, how much do you have to order to get a...

JSP Malt Mill vs AHB Cereal Killer vs ...? Help!

Just bought a MM3 with 1.5 rollers and half inch drive spline. I will give it a try this Saturday and reply back on my findings. I have heard that some people have issues with jams and am hoping that is not the case.

    Help

So far so good. I did a 4 gallon sparge and collected about 5.8 to boil. The lid is on and I just broke 180 on the thermometer so we will see how it turns out. Thanks to everyone for the help.
