    Tap not flowing right?

    Here is one source https://www.amazon.com/New-Liquid-Tube-Gallon-Kegs/dp/B07F93KSS4/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=keg+dip+tube&qid=1567514488&s=gateway&sr=8-3

    Tap not flowing right?

Well I just answered my own question. There are Ball lock corny kegs without the detents in the riser for the eared dip tubes.

    Tap not flowing right?

Thanks, I can see why the straight tubes would not have the features to orient the end as it resides in the same location regardless of the rotation. I am surprised there is not information easily found through the internet search engines that would answer this. All my kegs are full and I don't...

    Tap not flowing right?

Can't find an answer to this anywhere! Liquid dip tubes for corny kegs can come with or without ears for orientation. Are the fittings on the keg specific to each type tube or will either one fit, meaning all fittings have the ear detents? Have a good Labor Day!

    Tap not flowing right?

Well I ordered an Oring set for the corney keg and removed /replaced the liquid tube oring. The old one looked fine, used lube on it and reinstalled and low and behold I had the Same Problem! I swapped tap lines with another keg and still have the problem w/ original keg and diff. tap. I can see...

Isolated Yeast (Tree House): How to Identify and Characterize?

The yeasts discussed here are dry yeasts and the manufacturers do not recommend making starters although recent evidence is suggesting that rehydration may be the best option re: Sept. issue of Brew Your Own magazine.

    Tap not flowing right?

I know this is an old thread but I was searching for answers to my problem.... I have three ball lock corney kegs hooked up to a 4 way manifold, I burst carbed all three different beers at 35psi for 24 hrs then set the regulator to 12 psi. One of the kegs makes an abundance of foam. My tap lines...

Isolated Yeast (Tree House): How to Identify and Characterize?

Did you use their grain bill also? I have made the Julius clone as the website describes 4 times now and have really liked the results but this last time it was extremely yeasty tasting. Just now after 2 months in the keg is it tasting more like the other three batches which is to me very nice...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I have mashed and lautered one day and boiled/finished the next several times without any noticeable difference. I am sure my wort cooled below 130 before I started the boil the next day. I store the wort in sanitized plastic pails with the lids on tight.

Isolated Yeast (Tree House): How to Identify and Characterize?

I must admit I don't know anything about Hefe yeast and I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what your experiment will prove. I have made his clone recipe four times and there is a distinct yeast flavor that I personally can't describe. I just assumed it was a Hefe flavor based on his writing...

Isolated Yeast (Tree House): How to Identify and Characterize?

Interesting regarding your Zero Hefe descripiton. MarshallB who has claimed to have successfully cloned Julius claimed “This is a freakin hefe!” upon drinking Julius which lead to his 3 yeast combination.
