Why no higher end picnic taps?

I also have used picnic taps for the entire time I have kegged. My only complaint is the cheap construction, the size is perfect for my need and I really hope a stainless one hits the market sometime. I use a chest freezer and the taps reside in a large container of starsan when not being...

    Making vinegar from beer

Know this is an old thread but I was wondering how to tell when the vinegar process is complete? I have about 2 gal that has been continually making a Mother raft for the past 6 months, it falls about every 3-4 weeks then makes a new one. I have had to top off a couple times with distilled water...

Can't keep liquid in my airlock (or an airlock in my carboy😂)

If clogged with yeast debris neither one will perform as designed. I don't use an airlock until dryhopping. Prior to that I use a 1/2" blowoff tube into a tupperware canister with starsan

Can anyone recommend any notable NEIPAs available in the Baltimore area? Either locally brewed or distributed there. Some friends are coming down from there and I need to give them a huge list! I also posted this to the craft beer forum. Thanks

    Accidentally ordered grain uncrushed

If you have other crushed grains to dilute it with just use a blender. If not I used a rolling pin years ago, two pounds wouldn't kill you.

IMO lactose definitely adds sweetness to beer, put 1 lb in a 5 gal batch and see what happens

Probably what is listed on this site Trinity Brewers Collab - Homebrew Recipes from Guys Who Love Beer I have made four batches following that recipe. Was pretty good but I started looking for something with a fuller texture. Haven't found it yet

Those hot side amounts don't seem excessive to me Of course prior to injecting co2 for any process you would need to purge any components (tubing etc) to ensure it is void of air

No offense but it definitely looks oxidized, did it look like that prior to carbonating? What was your hot side hop schedule?
