    Drying hopping and finning

    I will be doing the 1st round of dry hopping on day 5 of fermentation tonight. Any tips? Also, I will be doing finning for the first time anybody with past experience with this method? I will post a picture when the primary is open, Hope it looks good

    just wondering /I am in day 2 of primary fermentation and bubbling away quite nicely. My question is how long should I let the ferm go before adding the first round off pellet hops? What should be the total length of the ferm? before bottling

    dang on the 0 flameout... The wort is already in the primary and fermenting.what should I do with the 0 flameout hops since I am done with brewing the wort?

    12 to 14 days total. what does that mean? the 5 days to go. What does that mean? Then on the bags 3 in total bags of hops, themself are marked 1st bag dry hop, 2nd bag dry hop the last bag just has a 0 on it.

    Thanks 1hw !:) I thought that's what the sugar was for. I do have the meter - but do not know how to read it or what it is for. The primary bucket has a spigot should I take a reading?

    Activated Wyeast but not using it Now what?

    oh good and thank you vike. I open \ pop mine very early in the brew. Now it is taking so long to cool down to 60 degrees. just put both paks back in the refrigerator. will pitch tomorrow morning.

    I mash hopped till 6:40 pm /5-hour mash. I started to boil at 6:40 pm northern California and did a hard simmer at around 160 -165 degrees for 60 mins. adding all the liquid malt extract and last set of hops in the last 10 mins with it being at 170 degrees.

    some people call it raw ale. I have to admit, it is my first time brewing this style of beer. Not sure what to expect. but so far so good. smells meh not as hoppy smell as I would like tho:(.
