    Well that's no good

    Absolutely NOT a good idea.

    Online Store (Austin Homebrew)

In the interest of fairness along with Austin Homebrew Supply, I'll also recommend Brewmaster's Warehouse. Both are active members of the forum. Also nothing wrong with Midwest, Williams Brewing, Northern Brewer and others. A lot of times it really boils down to who is closest or has the...

50 beers to try before you die

About 10 I can recall for sure, a couple more I think I've had.

Armageddon (not the fun kind, the ben aflec kind)

One of my favorite movies of all time. It's got deeper meaning, as in we rely on the government to protect us, but in the end it's going to be the wackiest rednecks out there who save the planet. (OK, maybe a stretch, but I still like the movie and have watched it several times).

    Well that's no good

I don't know what to say. I have a personal feeling about these sort of laws, but obviously they were made because someone burnt something down. Not sure how these laws are enforced, it might be easier to get away with boiling on a burner, vice grilling, but the smell is still likely to...

    The RDWHAH experiment

Write down everything you do wrong. In the end post a "Is My Beer Ruined" thread that reads like this. so i made some beer yesterday and am not for sure if it will turn out i forgot to add the yeast until this morning didn't have any hops so i used tea bags was out of bleach and then...

    3-4 Corny Capacity Kegerator/Fridge?

Many full size refrigerators fit the bill. I have an old (GE?). that fit four. Chances are you'll have to take the door shelving off (easy), and mabye build a flat shelf in the bottom that extends front to back.

    What are you drinking now?

It's not an issue of finding bottles, more than I just haven't looked. I've been drinking quite a bit less beer, and I haven't even been to the store nearly as much in the last few months.

    What are you drinking now?

2009 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. Last bottle of the 09 I have. So much for my vertical tasting plans. Still have 2 or 3 bottles of 08, and have not got the 10 yet. Probably too late for that.

    5x pepper beers

Very cool. I think you should video a sampling of each beer starting with the mildest pepper. It could be very entertaining. Seriously though, I hope you end up with 5 good beers.

    Things we hate?

I hate people who take tea breaks. It's a coffee break or a smoke break, you crumpet eating, queen kissing, ********..... :D Other than that, not much else.

    Sight Gauge $15.47

Only one question. Is the racking cane heat safe, I.E. can it handle boiling temperatures without melting, deforming, etc.... I'm thinking you would need to buy something else for this portion of the build.

    Cacao nibs?

Here is how I did it on a beer I made. People seem to be concerned with sanitizing them, wasn't sure so I put them in a blender and broke them up just a bit to espose the insides a bit more. Roasted them in a 350 oven (don't remember how long, but it was at least 15min). Cooled and...

    Eliminating GOOGLE as search function

And seeing as how pot is illegal and there are plenty of forums about that, I say that we are pretty far down the list if the government starts enforcing drug and alcohol laws on a big scale.

    too much foam commercial keg.

I've played around with different calculators for line length. In the end I took some advice from the forum and went with 10' of line. Seems to be a good compromise for most all situations. If you don't want to wait for your beer line, you can use the cheap plastic beverage tubing from home...

Any Automotive experts in the house?

Great dedication. I remember a time when I owned vehicles and as soon as they started to show signs of problems, I traded them in and moved on. Now I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey that will be paid for next year (no major issues yet) and a 2009 Jeep that I've installed a lift on, and other...

Even more interesting is that the second poster last posted in 2005, but shows activity on the forum as late as 2009.

    Eliminating GOOGLE as search function

Great thread. Has the potential to be epic. Just in case anyone thinks that Google search puts you at some sort of increased risk, just keep in mind that there are so many other ways the government can track your activities that Google is the least of your worries. It is totally amazing...
