Although the specs say it can handle the temps of boiling, I'll go on record and say that I would not recommend or try. I'd like to do some testing on that part of it. I'd hate to have it get real soft and degrade the structural integrity at any point and BAM lose such precious liquid gold...

Some temp specs on the Mash Hawk: Melt point: ~125.6 degC (~258 degF) Vicat Softening point: 114 degC (~237 degF)

Shipping seems pretty cheap. They really arent that heavy. I know the one quote we sent to Pennsylvania was only $15 and we are in Iowa. I'll get the upgrade prices on the lid and wheels.

well we are getn stuff set up so we can get one in everyone's brewhouse! I'm gonna take some more pictures and video's this saturday during my next brew session. BREW ON!
