Any new news on Home Depot Homer buckets?

If you live near a Firehouse Subs fast food place, they sell the buckets they get pickles in for a buck or two. Baking soda helps to get rid of the pickle smell. Of course if you're going for a pickle beer you're in luck! !

I want to jump into all grain, and need some advice on equipment. I've narrowed it down to two example options: Option 1: Cooler type kit http://www.homebrewing.org/10-Gallon-Converted-Igloo-Cooler-Mash-Tun-With-False-Bottom-AND-HLT_p_1313.html Option 2: Kettle kit...

    Problem with CO2 and keg

I had something very similar happen to me. I read up on it and noticed that even though there is a rubber gasket in the regulator connection, some people put a washer in the connection to the tank. When I went for a refill I got a few of the washers. Hooked it up to my setup and used 50/50...

    newbie stir plate questions

Yes a 500mA power supply will work for a 450mA fan. You need a bigger power supply if your fan Amps is greater than your power supply Amps. If your your power supply is more power than your fan, you're good. (I'm assuming its a 12V fan, and a 12V power supply)

This is what I'm getting at, the first year the cones are supposed to be minimal. But since their rhizomes, they're from a plant that could already...

    Dispensing for the wedding

Looks like your sanke tap is 5/16" and your manifold is 1/4" You'll need this instead http://www.midwestsupplies.com/2-way-co2-distributor-5-16.html Also if you want to save a bunch, you can make your own tower. Then again its for a wedding, so a diy might not get approved. Congrats!

    Lowes Frigidaire Lock

I got a Frigidaire dorm fridge, its the Lowes exclusive and a common keggerator conversion. I decided to be fancy and have an electronic temp controller. However, one thing I didn't see mentioned in any post, is that the locking mechanism drops about an inch under the key hole. When I cutout...

    Flavor Testing Setup

My wife asked me to create a beer she would like*. She likes light beers and fruity beers. I want to experiment around with some flavors she might like, so this is the setup: 1) I'm thinking about using Extra light DME, to have a consistent base wort. I believe 1 packet mixes with 1 gallon...
