    Using Sanitizer on Fruit

My wife wants me to add Strawberries to my beer. It's been fermenting for 2 weeks and I was going to rack it to a secondary on top of the strawberries. I've heard some people soak there fruit in vodka, others just add it without doing anything. One method is to soak it overnight in water that...

    Walk-In Cooler Size?

How are you going to be cooling the room? That may determine how big you go. I'm going to be doing something similar and I'll be using a window AC. So I'm looking at where I'll put the AC and how much room I'll have that will determine the unit I can get and my room size.

GrogNerd Can you run the water all the way across and add sand? I like the gradients effects on the second image.

Sorry SteelManCM been out working. I liked the first one. Played a little with it in Gimp last night. Added some text but I'm still playing with it to see if that's what I really want. I will be sure to let you know if I need to change anything. Thanks again for the fast help.

I've been trying for a few days to design a logo. Sunset at beach with beer bottle. Sound simple but not for someone who is artistically challenged. Still looking for pictures and trying to learn gimp software.

1st try at a summer ale

I'm working on a recipe and I want it to be a honey blonde light and malty. I have right now 6# of MO, 2# Vienna, 1# honey malt, 3\4# flaked oats and 1\2# of carapils. Should I cut back on something or change a grain? It falls in to an ESB as I have the hops EKG and yeast.

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

Thanks mikerunsmountains. I tested for about 4-5 hours and it didn't get hot. So, I don't think I'll put holes in it. I bought the Pyrex after looking at the cheaper ones and I'm glad I did. Magnets are right under the lid. I can even open the lid and put the piece of plexiglass on it for looks...

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

Just finished mine today and it's working. Not sure I'm getting enough of a vortex. Doesn't pull all the way down at max speed. Got the Cigar box free at the local Gas Station that I go to all the time. Just asked if he had any empties and he happened to have one right there at the counter. Got...

Irish Stout Ode To Arthur, Irish Stout (Guinness Clone)

I brewed this a week ago and can't wait to try it. But I have a couple of question that has been bothering me. I batch sparge and I hit my first sparge temp of 152 for 60 min. But my 2nd sparge was low at about 149-150 for 20 min. Should I have done the second one at about 170 like other brews I...
