    Wing Capper Gone Wild

Lucky you. First time my father tried to cap some bottles, he broke the hinges on my redbaron capper. We took the metal cap part off, and used a hammer to install the caps! No broken bottles fortunately, but I went out and bought a bench capper after that.

    My brewstand and keezer

I've been reading HBT for a couple of years now, haven't posted to much. Here are a couple of projects that I was able to put together after reading lots of posts. Holiday 5 cu ft keezer with chrome tower, perlicks, and flush mount drip tray. I put this together about a year and a half ago...

What do you do eith the spare parts?

I'm not sure how sturdy that setup is, but we've done something similar over here. Had some huge disk brakes, screwed a pipe in there about waist high, and mounted a small vice on top. Doesn't work for anything huge, but a movable vice has been pretty handy.

Thoughts on a wine fridge ferm chamber

I've looked at those at home depot/lowes a few times, they look pretty awesome but are kinda expensive when new. If I remember correctly, the one i saw at HD would be big enough for a 5 gallon carboy. As long as you verify the internal dimensions will work for you, I'd say go for it!

So who ferments in their brew kettle?

When fermenting in the brewkettle, how much of a concern is light? My stovetop kettle is stainless with a clear lid - is this good enough or should I throw a sheet of foil over?

    Harbour Freight

Most of the tools I have purchased through HF have worked well. These tools aren't meant for every day use, they're for the DIY people for occasional use. I agree with Frankiesurf on Chicago Pneumatic air tools being junk!
